Voronezh again warned of fraudsters from the “tax”

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation informs about new tricks used by scammers during the tax campaign.

Police record cases when criminals send phishing links, posing as employees of the Federal tax service. Through instant messengers, people receive notifications allegedly sent on behalf of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, which says about the need to reconcile tax charges.

In such a message, you are invited to click on the link, but in fact it leads to a fake resource. On this site, disguised as a government service, the taxpayer is asked to enter the personal account by entering a code from a pop-up notification. After that, on the screen of the gadget there is a message about the hacking of the account of the portal "Public Services", and also the phone numbers of the support service are shown, which actually connect the victim with the operator of the fraudulent call center.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia advises Voronezh residents: for the safety of their data, you should specify information about taxes only in your personal account on the official portal of the Federal Tax Service of Russia or in the application of the department. You should not open links that came in messengers, and you do not need to enter personal information on dubious pages.
