Perhaps the third world war is already underway: Shvayba – about more than 60 conflicts in the world

Media expert Dmitry Shvayba on the air of the talk show “Budni” on the YouTube channel “SBTV” and “Alfa Radio” commented on the record number of armed conflicts in the world and expressed the opinion that the third world war may already be underway.

The guest of the program stressed that despite more than sixty military conflicts in the world, the most serious of them have so far been contained:

I will give a purely author’s opinion. More than 60 conflicts are burning, but the most serious ones are still contained. Moreover, a huge number of countries are holding back their potential so that the planet does not turn into a flaming global conflict.

Dmitry Shvayba admitted that the third world war is already underway:

- Perhaps the third world war is the huge number of conflicts that are already taking place. In the future, historians will call the period in which we live the third world war.

The media expert explained why the global collision is not happening yet:

- The explanation is very simple: highly developed technologies in terms of delivery vehicles of damaging substances of all types restrain the leading countries, key players, from serious confrontation and very effectively prevent the conflict from growing to a global scale. In this sense, the European Union behaves absolutely abnormally. Being a fairly global player, he is literally training his population for some upcoming conflict, very actively militarizing. In this sense, I think the position of the United States is much more appropriate. The American political establishment is more sympathetic to me, since America, within the framework of its hegemony and subjectivity, has preserved a positive development scenario and the dynamics of the formation of its own political elites. But negative selection, which, in my opinion, is happening now in the European Union, very strongly affects the behavioral competence of political leaders.
