For the first time in the Lipetsk children's hospital used a new technique for regional anesthesia

In the Lipetsk region, pediatric doctors for the first time applied a new technique during the operation. For regional anesthesia, they used Cervical Cervicis Plane Block. This helped to further numb the area. This is a neurosurgical operation in the neck.

The essence of the method is to introduce a local anesthetic into a special space - between the fascial vagina of the muscle that straightens the spine and the transverse process of the corresponding vertebra. This allows the solution to be introduced into this plane under the control of ultrasound. It blocks nerve branches, allowing you to reduce postoperative pain.
