Since the beginning of 2026, about 1 million children have undergone preventive medical examinations in the Krasnodar Territory. “As part of occupational examinations in adolescents, vision problems, pathology of the musculoskeletal system, sleep disorders and excess body weight are most often detected,” said Vladimir Krushelnitsky, Minister of Health of the region.
Doctors pay special attention to children of the first year of life: during this period the child grows rapidly and develops, so it is important to regularly visit the pediatrician and undergo examinations by specialized specialists. Since the beginning of the year, more than 40 thousand children under one year have been examined.
Preventive examinations allow not only to identify possible diseases at an early stage, but also to assess the development of the child. If necessary, doctors prescribe additional examinations, treatment or observation from narrow specialists. In addition, according to the results of examinations, parents receive recommendations on nutrition, physical activity and daily regimen, taking into account the age and individual characteristics of the child.
Recall that more than 1.1 million residents of the Krasnodar Territory have been vaccinated against influenza.
