Doctors warned about household items causing a potential threat of cancer
Some items that people use at home on a daily basis may contain potentially harmful substances

Some items that people use at home on a daily basis may contain potentially hazardous substances. Doctors Jay Luthar and Daryl Eber told the publication Health, which household products and materials should pay special attention to reduce the impact of possible carcinogens.
First of all, experts identified aggressive household chemicals, highly flavored cleaning products and electric air fresheners. According to Luthar, it is not necessary to completely abandon them, but it is better to limit the frequency of use. For example, it is more reasonable to use powerful cleaning compounds only to remove persistent contaminants, and not during each cleaning.
Another possible source of harmful substances, Eber called kitchen stoves and ovens that work without adequate ventilation. He also recommended careful selection of chipboard furniture and plywood, as some such materials can release formaldehyde, long-term exposure to which is associated with an increased risk of certain cancers.
In addition, doctors advised to be more careful with furniture and carpets with special protective coatings. Some of them may contain perfluorooctanoic acid, which has carcinogenic properties. At the same time, experts stressed that the presence of such a substance does not mean that a particular object will necessarily cause cancer. For children's rooms and bedrooms, they recommend choosing products made of natural fabrics without additional chemical treatment.
There was an opportunity to predict the survival of cancer from a patient's selfie.
The doctor revealed five non-obvious threats to the body from the use of home tinctures.
