The boy almost lost his sexual organ during sports
As reported “MK” in the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region, the boy entered the children’s surgical department of the Ramena hospital with complaints of severe pain in the testicle. He said he was injured during a sports workout, but told his parents about the pain only two days later, when it became impossible to endure. Doctors examined and diagnosed rupture of the testicular capsule. The patient was urgently referred for surgery.
As noted by the head of the children's surgical department of the Ramena hospital Vladimir Khabalov, a huge hematoma and edema squeezed all the vessels. The task of the doctors was to save the functions of the injured organ. Under general anesthesia, a hematoma was removed and a torn testicular capsule was sewn together.
After 5 days, the condition of the young athlete was assessed as stable. The child is currently at home.
