The action “Dobro.Senior” unites more and more young Belarusians. On the route of today - and Kobrin district. Students of Gorodetsk secondary school went to visit a local resident Anna Gavrilovna Demchenko, which villagers call “our Baba Lucya”, reports sb.by.

So friendly, cheerful, kind! Anna Gavrilovna greets her guests with a smile, immediately noting what beautiful girls asked for her helpers around the house. And then modestly denotes a small front of work - washing windows - and then sincerely adds:
May God help you in your life to always be happy and so beautiful!
Baba Lucia is a religious man. There are many icons and spiritual books in the house. By the way, reading for her is one of her favorite activities.
- I used to read five or six books in a week, says Anna Gavrilovna.

Speaking about herself, she painfully remembers that she was born in a German concentration camp in 1943. But it speaks with restraint, emphasizing that, despite the terrible grief that the Soviet people experienced, there are many reasons for joy.
I lived in Khmelnytsky region, then in Kazakhstan, and in 2000 I followed my son to Belarus. It was a very different country then. How things have changed in that time! Everything's fine now. I've had citizenship for a long time. They treat me like I've always been a local, they call me theirs. I never felt like a stranger here. And I love storks. If I could, I would fly with them. Often they walk around my yard, says the woman Lucia.
All her work is related to agriculture. She was mostly a milkmaid. Addressing young people, she highlights the importance of this profession:
- I worked as a milkmaid for many years. This is a difficult task, but very necessary, which must be appreciated. He also combined it with his parliamentary work. “I was honored,” says the hostess. You need to respect all people and their work, treat your parents very carefully and always remain a person.
Lady Lucy has three children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. And then there is the cat Musya, which is more than 10 years old. Fuzzy beauty with character, warns the hostess of the house, not everyone will interact. But with the girls-volunteers in harmony.

Local students never forget about Grandma Lucyu. Natalia Zinovskaya, a student at Gorodetsk High School, says that everyone knows Baba Lucyu well, because she is a young prisoner of a concentration camp:
- We come to her and with our Sunday school - congratulations on holidays, give small gifts. We visit older people throughout the year. We help if necessary. For example, we remove the leaves, clean the snow in winter. We do what we have to do. We have to help the elders. It's our good tradition.
The Kobrinsky District Committee of the BRSM notes that the action “Dobro.Senior” is active. Volunteers themselves take the initiative and pave the way in a marathon of concrete cases.

- We are always ready to help our elderly people. For each of our volunteer squad assigned specific grandparents. Everyone already knows each other. And most importantly, they treat you like your family. At the moment, there are more than 200 volunteers of the Good Heart movement in Kobrinsky district, Yulia Surma, First Secretary of the Kobrinsky District Committee of the BRSM, said.
With the task of Anna Gavrilovna schoolgirls coped quickly. Accompanying the assistants, the hostess endlessly thanked them for their help, and even more for their attention and conversation, stressing that no one forgets her here.
