Another case of Ebola has been confirmed in Kenya. Reuters reports.
The total number of infections in the country has reached eight. Health Director General Patrick Amoth said 38 people were tested on Sunday and one was positive.
The new case is a 49-year-old man, a patient care worker. He was likely in contact with the first patient, who came from DR Congo and died in a Nairobi hospital on October 5.
The man felt symptoms on Saturday and was isolated. In Kenya, increased readiness has been declared. On Sunday, Congo confirmed the outbreak had spread to the eighth province of North Ubangi.
