In St. Petersburg, the driver of the Kia K5 was prosecuted for a dangerous maneuver on the road. The violation was noticed on video on social networks. This was reported to the traffic police.

Inspectors found the video during regular monitoring. The footage shows how the driver crossed a solid line of markings and drove into the oncoming lane.

DPS officers managed to quickly establish the identity of the driver, despite the fact that there was no exact time or geotag in the video. In respect of the man, an administrative protocol was drawn up under part 4 of Article 12.15 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

A preventive conversation was held with the offender. He confessed his guilt, but this will not save him from responsibility.

This is not the first such case of the day. Earlier, in the Primorsky district of the city, the driver of Lada Largus was punished for leaving the oncoming lane. The man also decided to “short” the path, was caught on video, and he was prosecuted under the same article.
