Young athlete from Khakassia became the absolute champion in orientation in the country

Miroslava Guett from Abakan became the absolute champion at the All-Russian competitions in orienteering. Competitions were held in picturesque Kaliningrad from 16 to 18 October.

“This achievement is the result of hard work, dedication and, of course, outstanding talent. The competitions brought together the strongest athletes from all over the country, who competed in three disciplines: cross-choice, cross-sprint, cross-sprint – a common start, the Abakan mayor’s office said.

Miroslava participated in a group of girls up to 15 years. The Khakass athlete took gold in two disciplines – cross-sprint and cross-sprint with a common start, as well as silver in the cross-choice.

We add that Miroslava is engaged in sports school on tourism of Abakan. The girl is coached by the master of sports in orienteering Elena Guett.
