Young masters from the only amber class in Russia visited the plant

Students of the only mining and jewelry amber class in Russia visited the Kaliningrad Amber Combine. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.

The students learned how to process solar stone, and visited the jewelry workshop, where amber is turned into beautiful things. The specialists of the plant told them about their work and how they help to extract amber in the largest quarry in the world.

Ahead of the children have interesting classes: master classes, lectures, lessons in mathematics, chemistry and physics, as well as lessons on creating beautiful things with their own hands.

Amber Class is the first project in Russia where schoolchildren can learn about the profession of a jeweler, mining engineer, geologist or stoneworker. After school, students can choose one of these professions.

For the Amber Plant, this project is a chance to help young people become professionals and develop the industry in the future, creating unique things from amber.

Earlier it was reported that in the Kaliningrad region extracted amber nugget weighing 1.3 kg.
