South Urals before the cold began to repair cottages more often

Residents of the Chelyabinsk region at the end of summer were more actively engaged in the improvement of cottages. Of particular demand were the repair of paths, painting fences and work with greenhouses. According to Avito Services, in August 2026, interest in the improvement of gardens and plots increased by 32% compared to the same month last year.

One of the popular directions was the arrangement of paths. In August, the demand for road surfaces increased by 20%. Judging by the statistics of the service, the owners of the sites tried to complete such work before the onset of cold and prolonged rains.

Notably more South Urals appealed for painting fences. Interest in this service for the month increased by 37%.

Not left without attention of the greenhouse. Demand for polycarbonate replacement jumped 43% in August compared to July. Installation of greenhouses began to order 21% more often.

In parallel, the gardeners were engaged in land. According to Avito Services, interest in manual earthworks increased by 35%, and in plowing of plots by 13%. Such works are carried out both in the improvement of the territory and in the preparation of the land for future plantings or construction.

There were cases in the garden. Services for rolling trees with roots in August were searched for 17% more often than a month earlier. Demand for the formation of the crown increased by 10%.

For more large-scale work, construction equipment is already required. Analysts of Avito Special Equipment have recorded an increase in interest in used cars, but the statistics concern the whole of Russia, not only the Chelyabinsk region.

So, in August, the demand for excavators with the production of different types increased by 30% compared to last year. Interest in several types of construction equipment, including rollers, vibrating plates and concrete mixers, increased by 9%.

Another 9% more often Russians were interested in buying trucks with experience - dump trucks and on-board trucks.

At the same time, in the Southern Urals, the general interest in services for the improvement of gardens and suburban areas was almost a third higher than last year’s level.
