During the week, fraudsters stole almost 69 million rubles from residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This is reported by the press service of the MIA for the region.
In total, 45 crimes were committed using fraudulent schemes. In 19 cases, the scammers acted according to the scenario “Cancel a dubious operation”, in 14 – “Fraud in online purchase”. Seven more times money from residents of the region was stolen under the pretext of additional earnings.
The police reminded that no matter who the interlocutors were, as soon as it comes to money, the conversation should immediately stop.
