Four couriers of fraudsters detained in Belarus

Four couriers working in the interests of scammers were detained in Belarus during the day, two of them are foreigners, a correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The police received about 400 reports of calls scammers. 31 crimes involving the use of IT-technologies were also registered.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated the blocking of five phishing Internet resources. Law enforcers blocked payments to 14 foreign details used by the attackers and suspended spending operations on 40 accounts.

According to the method of committing crimes, theft through social networks and deception when buying goods on the Internet are leading, then vishing on behalf of officials, fraud in renting housing and phishing.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that offers of quick earnings and goods at low prices on the Internet are associated with the risk of losing money. In case of a suspicious call, you need to stop the conversation and inform the police on the number 102.
