For reproaches, a resident of Severomorsk threatened a cohabitant with a knife

A resident of Severomorsk was saved from the knife of a roommate. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Murmansk region.

In the duty part of the police Department for ZATO Severomorsk and the city of Ostrovsky called 49-year-old woman. She said that in the apartment on Komsomolskaya street she was threatened with a knife by a man.

Police found out that the man was drunk and during the domestic conflict took a knife. He made death threats and walked toward the woman. The victim waited until he got distracted and called the police.

Arrested 52-year-old resident of Severomorsk, previously not convicted. The man confessed and explained the act of alcohol intoxication and reproaches from the woman.

A criminal case was opened under the article on the threat of murder. The maximum penalty is up to two years in prison. The suspect is under a travel ban.
