Yulia Dolbnya, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Electromechanical College in Dagestan, spoke about modern challenges in the system of secondary vocational education and the role of educational work.

According to her, modern education is not only lectures and laboratory work, but also a school of life in which a person is formed. The task of teachers is not just to prepare a specialist, but also to educate a person who can think, communicate, take initiative and work in a team.

In the era of digitalization, young people increasingly prefer virtual communication to live communication, so the college pays special attention to the development of communication skills. Children from different districts of Dagestan study in the institution, many are away from their families for the first time, and the college should become a space for them to support and reveal their abilities.

A special pride is the student choir, one of the first in the republic among the SPO institutions.

Dolbnya noted that she sees the main task of educational work in helping every young person to believe in themselves and learn to be part of society.
