Deputy Prosecutor of Chuvashia and the head of Cheboksar visited five renovated schools

First Deputy Prosecutor of Chuvashia Mikhail Shpakov and the head of Cheboksar Stanislav Trofimov checked the progress of major repairs of five schools in the city: gymnasium No 1, school No 18, 36, 19 and 37.

The readiness of most objects is from 70 to 90%. Repairs under contracts must be completed before November 1, 2026.

During the trip, representatives of contractors reported on the progress of work. Special attention was paid to compliance with the deadlines and the quality of repairs.

The biggest concern was School No. 37, where less than 60% of the work was done. Low rates were also noted at other facilities repaired by Glavinveststroy LLC. In 2025-2026, this organization has already made significant delays in the overhaul of the educational institution.

Previously, contractors were warned about liability for breach of contract terms.

Following the results of the inspection, Mikhail Shpakov instructed prosecutors of cities and districts to respond promptly to failures in the terms of repair of social facilities and, if there are grounds, to initiate cases on administrative offenses.
