The reason for the inspection was the appeals received from some citizens detained there.
As specified in the official message of Sergey Baburkin, the defendant, who is 7 months pregnant, asked for additional medical examination. The woman began to feel worse. Therefore, she expressed a wish for a more accurate diagnosis. This request was discussed by Sergey Baburkin with the head of SIZO-1, the necessary procedure for operational actions was jointly determined.
Another woman, who was awaiting an appeal decision by which she tried to commute the harsh sentence, asked for an opportunity to speak to a Catholic priest. As the Ombudsman specified, the resolution will require “good” from the leadership of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the support of the adviser to the governor on interaction with religious associations.
In addition to these requests, the women in the “Cowboys” asked the ombudsman to help change the playlist in the radio point of the colony. Remove annoying pop from the audition lists. And add more classical music. Sergeyts Baburkin conveyed this request to the SIZO management.
