Details of the story told in the Prosecutor’s office of Vitebsk region. By law, such a delay is due to those whose wives have a disability of the first or second group. This was taken advantage of by a 20-year-old potential conscript. He registered a relationship with a 41-year-old citizen in the registry office. The fact that the union of two hearts is not a family at all, but a target project was revealed during the inspection.
The newlyweds did not have a common household. They did not have a family budget: each spouse managed their own finances. Husband and wife lived together for only one and a half of more than 18 months in marriage. Most of this period, the couple spent separately: the young man, who at that time did not work or study, huddled with his parents, and his wife shared a home with another person in another place.
When it became clear that the marriage is fictitious, and violates the interests of the state, the prosecutor of the Polotsk district prepared a statement of claim to the court. There they agreed with the arguments provided and recognized the registration of the union as invalid. The decision has not yet come into force - the parties can challenge it. The husband and wife are also required to pay 67.5 BYN.
