A resident of Karelia opened fire on a friend in the garage cooperative Suoyarvi

The incident occurred on Sunday, October 11. Suojärvi received an emergency call from the territory of one of the garage cooperatives. According to the information of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 37-year-old citizen was inside the observation pit when he was attacked. The attacker shot him in the leg with a hunting weapon. Eyewitnesses of the incident were not confused: they blocked the entrance to the box and immediately called doctors and police. The shooter chose to escape.

Police were able to quickly identify the suspect. They turned out to be a 44-year-old local resident who already had criminal records in the past, besides he was a friend of the victim.

With the forceful support of the soldiers of Regardie, the attacker was detained and taken to the department. It turned out that at the time of the crime, the man was drunk. The preliminary cause of the massacre is called a long-standing personal conflict between men.

In fact, a criminal case has been opened.

The court sent the shooter to jail for 2 months.
