Thanks to the competent and consistent actions of the staff of the FSSP of Russia in the Orel region, it was possible not only to restore the rights of a minor child, but also to motivate the father to voluntarily fulfill his parental duty.
As told in the press service of the Ministry, in the Railway ROSP was initiated enforcement proceedings to recover from the resident of the regional center of arrears for maintenance of eight-year-old daughter. According to the court, he was obliged to pay 1/4 of all types of income for its maintenance, but the man systematically evaded his obligations and accumulated an impressive debt. Its size was almost half a million rubles.
As a result, an administrative case was opened against Orlov (Part 1 of Art. 5.35.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). Servants of Themis appointed him a punishment of 20 hours of compulsory work. But this did not prompt the man to change his attitude to his parental duties. Then a criminal case was initiated against the negligent father (Part 1 of Art. 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The press service of the Office of the FSSP in the Orel region added that during the investigation, the interrogator explained to the debtor that the criminal prosecution can be terminated if he fully repays the entire amount of the debt. The prospect of getting a criminal record, which could seriously complicate further life, became a decisive argument for the negligent father. In the shortest possible time, he fully repaid the alimony debt in the amount of 489 thousand rubles.
The professional approach of bailiffs allowed not only to defend the rights of the child, but also to resolve the long-term family conflict. The payment of the arrears served as a reason for reconciliation with the ex-wife, who withdrew the executive document, and the issue of further support for the daughter was settled voluntarily. The criminal case against a resident of Orel was discontinued.
