A resident of Perm set up a drug laboratory on the balcony

In Perm completed the investigation of the criminal case against a previously convicted 36-year-old local resident. The man is accused of several episodes of crimes qualifying as the illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, as well as the illegal sale or transfer of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, and the illegal acquisition, possession or transportation of precursors of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, as well as the illegal acquisition, possession or transportation of plants containing precursors of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or their parts containing precursors of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The investigation established that from November 2025 to May 2026 Permak organized an underground laboratory for the production of synthetic drugs on the balcony of his apartment in the Sverdlovsk district of Perm. The necessary laboratory equipment and precursors the attacker bought through the Internet. After the production and packaging of mephedrone, the defendant sold it in two ways: by means of caches-bookmarks and by transferring “from hand to hand”.

In total, the police seized more than 144 grams of finished mephedrone from illegal trafficking, as well as precursors and equipment for its production. The defendant spends the time of investigation in custody.

The criminal case has been referred to the court.
