Komi warned that in 2027 Easter will be late and fall on the first days of May. This will shift the dates of other holidays and fasts.
Palm Sunday, Ascension and Trinity will be celebrated later than usual. Lent will begin in mid-March, and Petrov’s fast will become shorter.
The Church reminds that the main thing is not the dates, but the meaning of the holiday. Believers traditionally come to the night service and consecrate cakes and eggs.
