Moscow residents warned of reduced visibility due to fog

The Moscow Emergencies Ministry warned residents of the capital about the fog, which is expected in the city until Sunday morning, October 18. The message was published in the official channel of the Ministry in the messenger “Max”. According to rescuers, from 21:00 on October 17 to 10:00 the next day in Moscow, fog is predicted in places with visibility from 200 to 700 meters. Such weather conditions can significantly complicate the situation on the roads and affect the work of transport, so drivers and pedestrians are advised to exercise increased caution.

In connection with the deterioration of visibility, the Ministry of Emergency Situations called on motorists to reduce the speed of movement, increase the distance to the cars in front, avoid sudden changes and overtaking. In addition, the Ministry reminded of the need to closely monitor children and not leave them alone in such conditions. According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center in the Moscow region, precipitation is expected in places on the night of October 18. At the same time, a noticeable warming is expected in the capital region on Sunday afternoon: thermometers can rise to plus 19 degrees. Residents of Moscow and the Moscow region will face contrasting weather - foggy and humid at night and a warm, but rainy day.
