Residents of Novorossiysk warned about training shootings on October 22

On October 22, military exercises with the participation of duty forces of the Novorossiysk naval base will be held in the waters of the seaport of Novorossiysk. Training will be held in three time periods: from 10:00 to 13:00, from 14:00 to 18:00 and from 21:00 to 23:00.

During the exercises, the military will practice actions to repel the attack of unmanned boats and unmanned aerial vehicles. As part of the training, practical firing from artillery installations is planned.

At the time of firing, a strict ban on the navigation of any small vessels and boats is introduced. The restriction applies to the entire range of water transport - from pleasure and sports sailing vessels to inflatable watercraft and equipment for active recreation on the water. Under the ban are jet skis, windsurfs, sappboards and similar means, the press service of the administration of Novorossiysk.
