Residents of Saransk warned about the opinion of doctors about medicines

Residents of Saransk became aware that some Russian doctors prescribe drugs, the effectiveness of which they themselves doubt. This was shown by a survey of medical specialists.

Among the often used remedies were sedative, antiviral and nootropic drugs. Some doctors use them, although they do not consider the scientific evidence of their action convincing.

At the same time, doctors rarely prescribe individual expensive drugs for the treatment of viral and oncological diseases. Only a small part of the respondents are confident in the proven effectiveness of the entire list of drugs considered.
