Residents of Saransk will now be able to treat multiple sclerosis

Saransk residents were informed about the registration of the first domestic biosimilar for the treatment of multiple sclerosis. The medicine is intended for adults with active forms of the disease.

Production of a full cycle in Russia will reduce the cost of treatment by about a quarter. Clinical trials have confirmed comparable efficacy and safety compared to the foreign original.

Multiple sclerosis is an incurable autoimmune disease in which the lining of nerve fibers is affected.
