In one of the messengers revealed publications with unreliable information: they allegedly contain a statement of the Governor of the Kurgan region with a call to foreign companies. Similar fake appeals are spreading on behalf of heads of other regions.
The authorities of the region emphasize that these publications are provocative, and the attached videos are deepfakes.
The government of the Kurgan region reminds that official statements and appeals of the governor and the regional government are posted only on verified resources – on the official portal of the state authorities of the region and in the personal verified accounts of the head of the region.
Residents are asked to trust only trusted sources of information, to be vigilant and not to spread unverified information.
Earlier, “MK-Ural” wrote that a fake video with the Governor of the Kurgan region Vadim Shumkov distributed in one of the social networks. The video is generated by artificial intelligence. In the fake video, we are talking about the alleged replacement of regional payments to residents who signed a contract with the military department to participate in a special operation, for equipment.
