Residents of the Voronezh region will be able to observe the flight of the ISS for a week

From October 20 to 27, Voronezh residents will have the opportunity to see the International Space Station in the morning sky. The first flight over the region will take place on Tuesday, October 20.

Watching the station is best from 5:00 to 6:30 in the morning. The ISS will be comparable in brightness to Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. Near the station will be visible constellations of Orion, Taurus, Little Dog and Gemini.

As explained by experts, the orbit of the ISS is tilted to the equator, so the station moves to the west by about 22-23 degrees for each turn. Because of this, the spans are not visible constantly, but periodically - several days in a row about once every two months.

The morning visibility season of the station will last until October 27.
