A resident of Feodosia got off with a suspended sentence for stabbing a partner in the chest

In Feodosia, a 32-year-old local resident was sentenced, found guilty of intentional causing serious harm to the health of a cohabitant using a knife. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of Crimea.

According to the materials of the case, in May this year the defendant was at his place of residence. The conflict with the cohabitant broke out because of the insulting statements of the man to her relatives.

During the quarrel, the woman took a kitchen knife and inflicted one blow on the chest area. The wound affected the lung.

The court sentenced the offender to two years of suspended imprisonment with probation for a similar period. The sentence has not entered into force.

Earlier it was reported that in August 2026 in Yevpatoria, a 59-year-old woman was suspected of causing serious harm to the health of a cohabitant: a 55-year-old man went to the hospital with a stab wound in the left side.

According to preliminary data, the conflict occurred on the basis of finances - the man demanded money for alcohol, was refused and was wounded. The woman gave a confession, she faced up to ten years in prison.

In May 2026, in Sevastopol, a 40-year-old woman stabbed her partner in the stomach during an argument in the kitchen. The incident occurred against the background of drinking alcohol. She called an ambulance herself, the victim was hospitalized. She faced up to 10 years in prison.

In March 2026, in Feodosia, a 45-year-old local resident was sentenced to seven years in a general regime colony for the murder of a partner. In September 2025, during the conflict, she stabbed a man in the chest, from the wound he died on the spot.
