Resident of the Voronezh region will pay 250 thousand rubles for drunk driving and attack on the inspector

In the Voronezh region sentenced 28-year-old local resident, found guilty of a number of crimes against justice and road safety. As established by the court, in the summer, a woman who had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for driving under the influence of alcohol again sat behind the wheel in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

Illegal actions of the driver were stopped by road-post officers. However, when communicating with a representative of the authorities, the defendant resisted: she struck the inspector with her hand and publicly insulted him.

Investigative authorities gathered a sufficient evidence base, and the court found the defendant guilty under three articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: driving while intoxicated, the use of violence against a government representative and public insult of a government representative.

According to the court, the woman was sentenced to a fine of 250 thousand rubles. In addition, her car was confiscated to the state.
