A resident of Yaroslavl was convicted of blackmail and extortion

The Prosecutor’s office of the Kirov district of Yaroslavl supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a previously unconvicted 51-year-old local resident. A Balzac-aged lady was accused of extorting money. The charge was brought under Part 1 of Art. 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (extortion).

According to the press service of the prosecutor's office of YaO, in July Yaroslavna through social networks met with a resident of the city of Mirny, which is located in the Arkhangelsk region.

The lady frantically flirted with the gentleman. And the beau was sending her money. Voluntarily, the Archangelogorodets transported 75 thousand rubles to the mother. And paused in the cash tranches. But the lady hoped otherwise. And in August, threatened to distribute personal photos and videos of the man, which he sent in personal correspondence. For the preservation of the secret, the woman demanded 50 thousand.

The man realized that he was a victim of blackmail. I went to the police. The police conducted an inspection and opened a criminal case.

Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the Kirov district court of Yaroslavl imposed a punishment of 1 year of restriction of freedom - she is forbidden to change her place of residence and leave the city of Yaroslavl and the Yaroslavl district without the consent of the criminal enforcement inspectorate.
