The doctors of the perinatal center in Khakassia conducted a complex operation - they helped the woman to restore reproductive function. Obstetricians-gynecologists removed a large fibroid from the uterus, which prevented the patient from becoming a mother: pregnancy did not develop.
According to the regional Ministry of Health, the myomatous node with a diameter of up to 7 mm was removed by laporascopic method. The operation lasted about two hours: the tumor was located atypically.
“Despite the difficulties, the operation was successful. That same evening, the patient was able to move independently, the ministry said.
Doctors said that myoma interfered with pregnancy. Now the patient is waiting for a year of rehabilitation, after which she will be able to conceive and carry a child.
