Residents of Saransk told that by 2050 summer can significantly increase

Residents of Saransk were told that by the middle of the century the summer period in central Russia could become longer. According to the forecast, May and September weather will approach the summer months. Winter will not shrink, however.

Severe cold and snowfall will not go away, so snow removal equipment will be needed. Due to the alternation of cold and heat, ice may occur.

The rains will become more intense, and the breaks between them will be longer. Children, the elderly and those suffering from chronic diseases are especially vulnerable to heat.
