Winter will wait: weather forecasters promised Pskovich no frost until the end of October

Those who have already started to get winter tires and get warm hats will have to wait a little. According to preliminary forecasts, “winter” weather with sub-zero temperatures will not come to the Pskov region at least until early November. This was reported in an interview with the correspondent of Pskov Tape of News by the head of the regional hydrometeorological center Tala Neschadimova.

“Even sub-zero temperatures at night are not visible yet. Therefore, tentatively, until the beginning of November we do not expect winter weather and sub-zero night temperatures. This is a preliminary forecast, the expert noted.

Instead of frost and snow, the region is waiting for a classic rainy autumn. As Tala Neschadimova added, starting tomorrow, October 24, rains will begin in the region.

“Next week will go with more cloudy weather and rain in certain areas,” the head of the hydrometeorological center concluded.
