Italians noted that the ships are ready for winter. They were refined at the manufacturing plant taking into account last season.
The start of navigation is scheduled for December 1. But the exact date depends on when the ice rises. The Italians explained: at sub-zero temperatures, open-water vessels quickly freeze and work becomes difficult.
Last year, these ships carried about 6,000 passengers. They performed approximately 1,200 flights.
