In Poland, killed 20-year-old footballer after an accident involving roe deer

Polish footballer Oscar Kordus has died at the age of 20 after an accident involving a roe deer, reports Przeglad Sportowy.
According to the source, the driver of a Volkswagen car hit a deer crossing the road. The animal was thrown into the oncoming lane and it flew through the windshield into a BMW driven by Cordus. The car rolled off the road and overturned. The footballer suffered serious injuries.
Firefighters began resuscitation, after the arrival of doctors, it continued, and vital functions were restored. The victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Poznan, where he died. The second participant in the incident was not injured.
Kordus played as a defender for the Polish club “Kania Gostyn”, where he moved before the start of the current season from the “Piaska Crown”.
The club “Kania Gostyn” has expressed condolences in connection with the death of the player and canceled the upcoming match against “Polonia Hodzezh” in the fourth division of the championship of Poland.
