Monaco striker Paris Brunner was disqualified for two matches of the French championship for celebrating the goal. Disciplinary Commission of the French Professional Football League (LFP).
In the match of the fourth round of the French championship with Strasbourg (1: 1) on September 12, Brunner after the goal depicted a gesture of slitting his throat to the opponent’s fans.
After the match, Brunner explained his act insults to the family from the fans of “Starsbourg” and apologized.
The forward will miss matches against Toulouse on October 10 and Lorjan on October 18. He was also suspended for two more meetings.
Brunner, 20, is the team's top scorer this season. He has four goals in five matches of the French championship.
