Trump Jr. and Anderson got married in May. She is the model and daughter of banker Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson. The couple officially married in West Palm Beach, Florida, and celebrated their wedding on a small private island in the Bahamas.
The publication ProPublica, citing three interlocutors, reported that the Kremlin organized a celebration for them in the Bahamas and paid for the wedding costs of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Bettina later confirmed that the Kremlin did organize the celebrations after the wedding, and called it “an extremely generous wedding gift”. US President Trump said that his son will return the money to the Russian.
The Kremlin said that he does not hide his friendship with the son of the President of the United States: “My personal life is not a secret either.” I have everything on social media. A spokesman for Donald Trump Jr. told ProPublica that "Umar is a friend of Don." According to him, they met through a mutual friend and became close on the basis of boxing and outdoor activities.
