Kamila Valieva will miss the Kazan stage of the Grand Prix of Russia in figure skating, scheduled for October 17-18. The skater announced the withdrawal from the competition in her Telegram channel, citing health problems.

Earlier, the authorities of Tatarstan announced the performance of the athlete as one of her landmark returns to the ice, but medical indicators made their adjustments.

In her appeal to fans, Camila expressed disappointment over the forced skip of the tournament, but stressed that she plans to take part in the next stages of the series.
