Valieva never filed an appeal with CAS to revoke neutral status
CAS said it had not received an appeal from the Russian figure skater against the ISU decision. Time for appeal has expired

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has not received an appeal from Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva against the decision of the International Skating Union (ISU) to revoke neutral status.
“We can confirm that CAS has not received any appeal from Valieva,” the court said.
On September 10, ISU reported that it had not satisfied Valieva’s appeal to revoke her neutral status and that she had 21 days to apply to CAS.
In August, the skater received neutral status for participation in international tournaments, but later the ISU withdrew it. Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev said that the ISU decision will be appealed to CAS. Valieva also said that “lawyers work” and she will fight for her rights.
20-year-old Valieva in January resumed his career after serving a suspension for a doping violation. She began to train in the team of Tatiana Navka under the leadership of Svetlana Sokolovskaya. Before the disqualification, Valieva was engaged in the group of Eteri Tutberidze.
On June 30, ISU allowed Russians to compete in neutral status, but so far they have a limited number of quotas for major tournaments due to the lack of rating points.
