Torpedo will go to the match in St. Petersburg by bus due to the cancellation of the flight

The players of “Torpedo” will go to the match of the 13th round of the First League with “Leningradets” on the club bus because of the cancellation of the flight. This was reported by TASS Director of communications of the Moscow club Dmitry Ganichev.

Torpedo’s players, coaching and administrative staff were already on board the Moscow-St. Petersburg aircraft when the commander of the ship reported an indefinite delay due to the introduction of the Carpet Plan. After an hour and a half waiting in the plane, all passengers were taken back to the terminal, and then informed about the cancellation of the flight, Ganichev said.

According to Ganichev, in connection with the current situation, it was decided that the team will go to St. Petersburg by bus. "Players and coaches will spend the night in a hotel in the Northern capital, and in the morning they will go to Roshchino for a match with Leningradets," he added.

The match will be held on October 10 and will begin at 14:00 GMT.

Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft on October 9 were introduced at four airports of the Moscow air hub - Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defense forces repelled the attack of 15 drones.
