Argentina president calls Messi 'impossible' in farewell message

Argentine President Javier Miley thanked national team captain Lionel Messi, calling his achievements "impossible." His farewell message he posted on page X before the last match Messi for the national team.
“Thank you very much, Lionel Messi, for all the magic you have given us on and off the pitch, showing the world that through effort it is possible to achieve even the impossible. Messi is impossible! Go Argentina, damn it! wrote Miley.
In addition to his address, Miley posted videos of old interviews in which he admired Messi. In one of the videos, he called the forward's game "incredible.".
Messi played his last match for Argentina against Benin at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires. In the 71st minute, he realized a penalty and scored two assists. So, the Argentine interrupted a series of three matches without penalty scores. In total, he realized 117 penalties and did not score 35.
Messi has played for the national team since 2005, playing 208 games and scoring 126 goals. During this time, he won the 2022 World Cup, won the Copa America twice (2021, 2024) and won many other trophies.
Messi's individual achievements include a record eight Ballon d'Or, three FIFA Player of the Year awards, six Golden Boots by Europe's top scorer and two World Cup Golden Balls.
