World and European football champion David Silva resumes his career at 40

World and European champion in the Spanish national team David Silva resumed his career at the age of 40 and signed a contract with Suprim Sathin, a newcomer to the Hong Kong Premier League. This was reported by the press service of the team in Instagram (owned by Meta, the company is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

The term of the agreement with the midfielder is not specified.

Silva retired in 2023 after three seasons at Real Sociedad. Prior to that, he played for Manchester City, with whom he won the English Championship four times, twice the FA Cup, five times the English League Cup, three times the National Super Cup, Valencia, Celta and Eibar.

As part of the Spanish national team, Silva won the world championship (2010) and two European championships (2008, 2012). In total for the national team, he played 125 matches and scored 35 goals.
