Magnitogorsk "Metallurg" beat Vladivostok "Admiral" with a score of 3: 0 in the match of the Fonbet regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The goals were scored by Nikita Mikhailis (29th minute), Nathan Todd (38) and Vladimir Tkachev (59).
Metallurg played the first match without head coach Andrei Razin. The day before, he was suspended from work due to a conflict with hockey players. According to the director of the club Alexei Zhloba, between Razin and the players “disagreements arose both on game issues and on the nature of interaction.”.
Metallurg with 21 points is in first place in the standings of the Eastern Conference of the KHL. Admiral (11) is in eighth position.
The Magnitogorsk club will play against Salavat Yulaev on October 9, and the Admiral will meet with Togliatti Lada the next day.
