Olympic medalist Vladimir Morozov became a father

Silver medalist of the Olympic Games in pairs figure skating Vladimir Morozov became a father. He reported this on Instagram (owned by Meta, the company is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

"07.10.2026," Morozov signed a photo from the hospital.

Morozov and his wife Maria Kasumova had a son. The skater proposed to his wife in July 2024, the couple married in the summer of 2026.

The 33-year-old Morozov, paired with Evgenia Tarasova, won silver in doubles skating at the Beijing Games and silver in the team tournament at the 2018 Olympics. They also have two silvers and bronze World Championships, two wins, three silvers and two bronzes at the European Championships.

In 2023, Morozov and Tarasova announced the end of their sports career.
