In the first three matches of the current season, Romanov’s utility indicator was +2, he did not score points. The 26-year-old defender spent just 15 games last season because of a serious shoulder injury.
Romanov, grandson of the famous coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov, has been in the NHL since the 2020/21 season. He is the winner of the 2019 Gagarin Cup as part of CSKA.
