Mirra Andreeva breaks two records at WTA-1000
19-year-old Andreeva became the youngest tennis player who reached the semi-finals of WTA-1000 tournaments on two different types of coverage, and also faster than other tennis players reached the fourth semi-final of the “thousanders” in her career

The first racket of Russia Mirra Andreeva has established two new achievements in the tournaments of the WTA-1000 category, which are second only to the Grand Slam and the Final Tournament.
Andreeva in the quarterfinals defeated compatriot Ekaterina Alexandrova - 7:6 (7:4), 7:6 (7:3).
Andreeva, at the age of 19 years and 154 days, became the youngest tennis player, who in one season reached the semifinals on the “thousanders” and on the hard surface, and on clay. Since 2009, from tennis players up to 20 years, only Belarusian Victoria Azarenko managed to do this.
Andreeva also became the youngest tennis player to reach four semi-finals of the "thousanders" in her career, surpassing the achievement of American Corey Gauff (in her fourth semi-final in this series she reached 19 years 203 days).
The Russian also became the youngest semi-finalist of the tournament in Beijing since 2007 (after Hungarian Agnes Savai).
This season Andreeva reached the final of the clay "thousanders" in Madrid and won Roland Garros.
