Barbie Manufacturer Unveils Named Serena Williams Doll
The image of the doll, which will be sold for $45, is inspired by the victory of the tennis player at the Australian Open in 2005

Manufacturer of Barbie, the company Mattel, presented the doll winner of 23 Grand Slam tournaments Serena Williams. Photos of the doll were posted on Barbie's Instagram page (owned by Meta, the company is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
The image of the doll commemorates Williams' victory at the Australian Open in 2005, when she took her seventh Grand Slam singles title. The doll is dressed in a superhero-like white and green outfit, it also has a racket and a tennis ball.
This is the second Barbie doll released in honor of the tennis player in 2026. The first, presented on March 8 and made in a single copy, depicted an athlete in a business suit and was dedicated to her career as an investor and entrepreneur.
The retail price of the new doll will be $45, according to The Athletic.
“I want every girl who plays with this doll to see opportunities, not just in me, but in herself,” Williams said.
