KHL club coach complains of infection outbreak

The head coach of Khabarovsk Amur Alexander Andrievsky said at a press conference after the match with Traktor in Chelyabinsk that the team “has some kind of virus” and this affected the composition.

“Amur” from the beginning of October spent the fourth match away: first shared points with “Automobilist” in Yekaterinburg (0: 3, 3: 0), and then twice in two days won “Tractor” (2: 1, 2: 0). In particular, by the second match, the captain of the team, two-time Stanley Cup winner Vyacheslav Voinov, fell ill.

“Unfortunately, there is some kind of virus in our country, there are patients, somewhere something was picked up on the trip,” Andrievsky said.

According to him, “Amur” on Thursday, “played all who were alive.”.

Amur is third in the Eastern Conference, Tractor is ninth.
